Now desedayz our media(specially electronic media) is giving lots of coverage to wat allegedly Rahul Gandhi said to Former US ambassador Timothy Romer According to Wikileaks.It is said dat Rahul gandhi said dat Muslim fundementalism is a threat to india but Hindu Fundementalism is a greater threat .
Now let us define wat fundementalism mns it is usually a religious movement or a point of view characterized by return to fundamental principles,by rigid adherence to dose principles,and often by intolerance of other views and opposition to secularism.Now the basic point whosoever does fundementalism is wrong but i m not a congressian mouth peice but wat rahul gandhi said has a logic becoz in any plural and multicultural society often majority fundementalism is a root cause of everykind of minor fundementalism.In any multicultural society linguistic or religious minority feel at sum point of tym dat dere cultural or religion is dominated by majority group so dere is a natural tendency to move towards cultural isolation or more profoundly towards fundementalism but its the responsibility of majority group to assure dat the fear of minorties is wrong by dere deeds however if majority people cry of being dominated by a tiny minority n derefore takes step which actually increases seperetist tendencies in minorties den i would call dat thing more illogical,rational n harmful to any society.
Wat Congress people r saying may be motivated by vote bank politics i don,t care but the fact of the matter is I would term RSS fundementaism as a root cause of Minority communalism in post partition India.Till 1992 the muslim fundementalism in india was minimal dere was nothing called SIMI or other indegenous communal muslim organization but after the Babri masjid demolition n Gujrat Riots the muslim fundementalism spreaded rapidly thus u decide which organization is more harmful to us a organization dat is perpatuating violence or an organization which is a root cause of all current violence in India.
Fundementalism of any kind is a threat to very basic tenents of any multicultural fabric whether its done my majority or minority group but i would say dat we should first curtail majority communalism to find strongly against minority fundementalism..Wen Bajrang dal speaks venom against Muslims or Christians it actually ignites the flames of seperatism among the already oppressed groups in India den dese group become easy prey to the minority communal organization becoz dey feel dat as dey r sidelined by majority group dese minority groups r dere saviors.Thus it establishes a most dangerous tendency.Thus wat i would conclude by saying is dat wat rahul gandhi said is rigt may be he is politically motivated but in any plural society majority communalism is a root cause of all.
